Printing Methods
Digital Flat Print

Digital printing, commonly called flat printing, is the most affordable printing method. Best for smaller quantities or short run printing, this method uses digital printers to transfer ink to the paper. It leaves the printed surface flat to the touch unlike foil stamping or letterpress. Because the inks used for digital printing is not opaque, anything printed on dark paper will not be visible.

A full-colored background can be printed on the paper for a “white ink on colored paper” effect but the back portion of the card will remain white. Any gold or metallic color in the design will come out as flat and not shiny but it is possible to have a gradient effect.

Foil Stamping

This method uses a heated metal stamp to create a foiled impression on the paper. Foil can be used to highlight the names and headings or it can be applied to the entire page.

Available in gold, silver and rose gold

Envelope Addressing

Guest names are directly printed on the envelopes to give you more freedom when it comes to font styles and sizes. This method is also faster than hand calligraphy and doesn’t require extra envelopes in case of mistakes which usually happen when it is done by hand.

*This is printed using black ink and is not recommended for dark envelopes.

Add-Ons
Sticker Seal

If wax seals are not your thing, then sticker seals may just be the one for you! Any design can be printed on sticker which is then die-cut to any shape and size.

Printers and monitors produce colors in different ways. Monitors use RGB (red, green and blue) which supports a wider spectrum of colors while printers usually use CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) which cannot reproduce all of the colors in the RGB color model. The type of paper may also affect the printed output. Paper will absorb ink which makes it look more dull compared to an LED screen. Different lighting conditions can also affect how you see the colors.
